* Supplies a reliable PPM signal to test and adjust your servo motors. * Displays the internal resistance of each individual cell in lithium-based battery packs * At discharge rate of 180mA, can discharge lithium-based battery packs to an adjustable threshold * Checks estimated capacities for Lithium-based packs and indicates if they require charging before use * Displays estimated voltages for NiCd/NiMH batteries for TX and RX (4-7 cells) * Displays estimated voltages for LiPo/LiFePO4/Li-ion (2-7 cells) packs and individual cells Do not leave your battery discharging with this device unattended. Let the unit cool to room temperature before discharging again. **Note:** To avoid overheating, refrain from using the discharge function for more than six minutes at a time. But wait-that's not all! This cell meter can even be used to test movement and adjust your servos via PPM signal! In addition to allowing you to check the voltage of your batteries and view the capacity and internal resistance of each individual cell in lithium-based packs, this product functions as both a battery discharger and a battery balancer.Įvaluate the health of your battery pack and decide when to discard or replace it, discharge your pack to an adjustable threshold to improve its run time, and balance your batteries to optimize their performance and extend their lifespan. For LiPo/LiFePO4/Li-ion packs, it can also display the voltage of each cell, so you know when they need to be balanced. Use this function to quickly check if your battery requires charging before use. If that isn't important to you than save the money and buy the Wanderer.Do you yearn for complete and total mastery of your battery pack situation? Like a mystical amulet in a fantasy film, the Tenergy 5-in-1 Intelligent Cell Meter takes you one step closer to becoming an all-seeing and all-powerful battery wizard. Tenergy 5-in-1 Cell Meter can display the estimated capacity and voltage for LiPo / LiFePO4 / Li-ion / NiCd / NiMH battery packs. Overall I am happy with the Wanderer but considering my that I now wanted a controller that actually shows the amps being produced and used I maybe should have ordered a controller like the one I have at my house. The third light is either Green for a sealed battery, Orange for a Gel battery or Red for a flooded battery. The "BATT" light shows green when the Batterys are in good shape. One for the "PV" which is a green light that shows brighter when receiving full sun. Why is my electric meter flashing 88888My electric meter is disconnect by msed that meter is again reconnection so how do you write letter to m s e & d officer. The front of the Wanderer has three different lights. I have since ordered (and yet to install) a Tenergy Watt meter that will give me the display that I want. Tenergy 5-in-1 Intelligent Cell Meter (Capacity Checker, Battery Balancer, Battery Discharger, Internal. The Wanderer is about half the money and doesn't have this type of LCD display. I currently also have a small house independent emergency system using two 100 watt Renogy panels and a controller that actually shows the amount of amps being made and being used at current time and over periods of time which I really like. I called Renogy (always very good to get onto the phone with) and I was instructed to use a slightly different way to change the type of batteries and it worked. After hooking it up I had trouble getting the "battery type" light to go to red indicating a flooded battery. This is fine with me as I come straight out of the controller directly to the battery and would not have used a controller with "load" terminals. Battery Capacity Checker: Tenergy 5-in-1 Cell Meter can display the estimated capacity and voltage for LiPo / LiFePO4 / Li-ion / NiCd / NiMH battery packs. It is pretty straight forward to install noting that it does not have "load" terminals. The prior controller wasn't rated high enough in amps so I decided to go with the Renogy Wanderer. I recently upgraded my solar panel on my sailboat from a 20watt to a Renogy 100 watt panel.
